The GDCAN, established since Nov. 2000, is a 11x17 free newspaper in Chinese Language published on Fridays, and distributed thru Chinese Grocery stores, restaurants, Chinese schools, churches, and special gatherings, reaching the entire the Chinese Community in the area, from Rochester Hills, Troy, Farmington Hills, Novi, Canton, to Ann Arbor, as well as Windsor, Canada. The current circulation is about 8,000 ~ 10,000 every issue.

With the mission to service the Chinese community, GDCAN covers all welcomed topics including political and economic news, community events, education, health, sports, art and literature, etc. As being so much liked by the readers, GDCAN is growing rapidly - the total pages and circulation have both doubled just in the year 2002. Now, GDCAN has become a powerful media influencing the entire Chinese community, as well as a bridge from the Chinese community to the Mainstream society.
